Featured Animal Action

There are several scenes where a poodle is held by an actor or is sitting on a bed. Another dog is seen barking and running from point A to B in front of a gate as the sheriff walks by. For these scenes, the trainer placed the dog with the actor, or on his mark, and cued him with verbal and hand signals. In another scene, the sheriff is driving down the road when a deer darts out from the woods and stands in the road. The trainer placed the deer on his mark for the establishing shot. The vehicle is not actually seen hitting the animal.
