Honey, I Shrunk The Kids
Children and adults alike will enjoy Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Set in suburbia, its the story of two families, the Zelinskis and the Thompsons. Mr. Zelinski is an inventor whose latest project is a shrinking machine. When Arnold Thompson's baseball smashes thru the window where the machine is kept, the Thompson and the Zelinski children go to retrieve it and are accidentally shrunken to a size smaller than an insect. Because they are nearly invisible they are swept up and thrown out with the trash in the backyard where their efforts to get back to their homes becomes a major adventure.

Featured Animal Action
There are some wonderful special effects as they tame and befriend an ant who later saves their lives, losing his in the effort. The Zelinski dog Corky rescues them when he defies the Thompson's cat and gives the children a ride home. Corky, an adorable terrier-mix appears throughout. Although he has a confrontation with the Thompson family cat, there is never any physical contact.
