Featured Animal Action

Bird Action As the older woman stands on a ladder by the birdhouse, we see a bird fly out. The trainer placed a Starling bird inside the house and stood off camera with some food and a cage. The bird flew right to the trainer. Later we see a baby bird lying on the grass. Two hands are shown picking the bird up with a handkerchief. These are the hands of the trainer who gently picked the bird up after placing it on it's mark on the ground and placing it back in the cage. The handkerchief is empty as Venessa Redgrave climbs up the ladder with it and places it back into the birdhouse. At the end of this segment, a bird is shown hopping on the floor of the empty room inside the house. It hops to an open window and flies out. The trainer released the bird on to the floor in the room and then stood outside, below the open window, with the cage and some food. The well trained Starling followed the directions beautifully.
