Mad at the Moon, set in the late 1800's, is the story of Jennie, a young woman considered almost too old to be of marrying age, and how she must choose between the man that she loves and the man who is in love with her. Unfortunately, the man who loves her is a warewolf! Jennie is desperately in love with Miller Brown, a hardened, gambling drifter. Miller does not show any feelings for Jennie, so with her mother's constant urging, Jennie agrees to marry James Miller, a very dull, but loving and attentive, country bumpkin. Jennie is soon to discover that her new husband has a deep dark secret. He has "moon sickness", but only when the moon is full. Jennie must now decide her own fate and where the future will lead her.
