Featured Animal Action

In a brief scene as John walks on the sidewalk, a man walking a dog on a leash passes him. For this scene, the trainer handed the dog's leash to the actor right before the camera rolled and retrieved the dog right afterward. The trainer instructed the actor on the handling of the dog before filming began. American Humane monitored another scene in which a man crosses the street with a dog on a leash, and John screeches his car to a halt right before them. This scene was put together with separate shots. The dog and actor stood in a crosswalk a few feet away from a parked car. When the car began to move, the dog and the actor were cued to jump out of the way. The dog was never near the car when it was moving fast. This scene does not appear in the theatrical release but might be included on the DVD.
