Somebody Is Waiting is a film about Leon, an eighteen year old boy, who accidentally kills his father one night during an argument between the two. Leon buries his father in the backyard and after a neighbor dog starts sniffing around, the body is found and Leon becomes a fugitive.

When the dog is seen sniffing and digging at the site where Leon's father is buried, Leon picks up a shovel and tries to scare the dog off. The owner grabs the dogs collar, putting his leash on. This scene was shot in cuts. The trainer placed the dog on his mark and cued him with verbal and hand commands.
