Stone Cold

Stone Cold portrays the extremely violent story of the illegal activities of a motorcycle gang involved with the mob. Joe Huff, an undercover cop, taking the cover name of John Stone, becomes a "prospect", or potential member, of an unscrupulous motorcycle gang. Chains, the gang's leader, orders Joe to kill a leading drug dealer and bring back his ear in order to prove himself worthy of being a member. Joe does this, with the aid of other fellow policemen, by kidnapping the dealer and then having an ear removed from a cadaver out of the morgue and returning it to Chains. This convinces Chains, and Joe is then accepted into the gang. The bikers are on a mission of vengeance. They are plotting to kill all politicians and others involved in the trial of a fellow biker for murder. Joe must try to catch these criminals, without being discovered, and have them convicted before they continue their reign of terror.

Featured Animal Action

Animal action is minimal. In one scene there are two Dobermans on leashes being held by one of the bikers. In another scene two Dobermans on leashes are barking at passing motorcycles. A monitor lizard (the same lizard used in the motion picture The Freshmen) was seen as Joe's pet. The lizard, Mzee, (which means "old man" in Swahili) had 9 months of training and was quite used to people. He and the actor were familiarized with each other prior to this scene. Mzee is currently residing at Moorpark College.
