Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan
A group of Crystal Lake high school students take a class trip to New York City aboard ship. Mysterious murders occur enroute as one by one the passengers die a gruesome death. When they reach Manhattan, Jason Vorhees, the ghostly killer, continues to stalk the surviving students.

Featured Animal Action
One of the students brings her pet dog on the trip and the dog makes it to Manhattan where he runs off after muggers shoot at him. He is not hurt and is later reunited with his owner. A rat and carriage horse are also seen briefly.
