Ted & Venus

Ted, a sweet young man, is a struggling Poet obsessed with sex. When he sees a young woman, Linda, on the beach, he falls in love. Ted becomes so obsessed with going to bed with Linda that he sends her dirty poetry, makes obscene phone calls and throws himself on her every time he sees her. Linda soon becomes desperate to get away from the relentless Ted, and has him arrested. We then become aware that Ted has been institutionalized on several occasions for similar harassment. After being raped in jail, Ted is finally released. Feeling completely abandoned, he again seeks out Linda, this time to apologize to her. His misunderstood efforts provoke tragic consequences.
