Waiting for the Light

Waiting for the Light is a comedy set in the early l960's against the melodrama of the Cuban missile crisis. An ex-vaudevillian in failing health inherits a run down diner in a small town. She decides to leave Chicago with her niece and children and make a fresh start. Through some magic tricks, she causes the unsophisticated townsfolk to believe they've witnessed a miracle, and maybe they have.

Featured Animal Action

White doves are a part of the magic act and help to create the illusion of a miracle. Trained doves were used and all action was simple. A goat, snake and geese are also seen briefly.
