Six Days Seven Nights

Six Days Seven Nights is a comedy about Robin, a young magazine editor, who goes on a vacation with her fiancee to Makatea, an island paradise. While there, Marjorie, her boss, asks her to fly over to Tahiti for a photo shoot. In route to Tahiti, the private plane she chartered crashes and she is stranded on an island with the pilot.

Featured Animal Action

There is a scene when they are stranded on the island where a pig encounters Robin and Quinn, the pilot. The animal stands its ground and then walks away. The trainer placed the pig on its mark and cued it with verbal and hand commands. Later three peacocks are on the beach and Quinn decides to catch one for dinner. The scene was shot in cuts. The peacocks are placed on their mark for the establishing shot, however, they are not seen being chased by the actor. In the next scene, Quinn is roasting what is supposedly one of the peacocks. Other animal action consists of a scorpion crawling in Robin's hair. The trainer placed the spider on its mark and retrieved it at completion of the shot.
